Advantage#1: Avoid Sketchy Websites by Checking the URL of a Link
If you’ve ever tapped on a link that unexpectedly took you to a sketchy website while using your iPhone or iPad, you’ll be glad to know Safari makes it easy to check the URL of any link before you go there.
To make sure you end up at the website you’re expecting, press and hold the link. If you trust the URL that appears at the top of the menu that pops up, go ahead and choose Open. Otherwise, tap Cancel.
